Membership at Windwood is a two step process … each step is available to you as
simply a way to learn more about what Windwood is all about, or to take the steps necessary to
become a member of our Family of Faith.  Throughout the year we offer two classes:

1.  Discovering Windwood is an in-depth 8-week study for anyone who wants to find out just who we are and what we believe!  All new members should attend this class – either before or after they join the church.

This class includes an overview of how the Church started out as one (with the disciples) and ended up with many denominations.  It also looks at what we all have in common with one another as Christians, and then some of those things that have caused us to be in different “camps.” Finally, the class will look at what makes Windwood part of the Church Universal, and what makes us particularly Windwood. 

2.  Our New Members Class is a 3-hour class, held once a quarter on a Sunday afternoon, immediately following the 11:00 am worship service.  In this class you can learn about the Presbyterian denomination and more about Windwood and its various ministries.  Participation in this class does not obligate you to join the church, but we hope it will bless you and that you might prayerfully consider becoming a member of the Windwood Family of Faith. 

There will be an opportunity at the end of this class for those wishing to join to become members. 
New members are then received by the congregation approximately 2 weeks after completing this class.

Childcare is available for all classes.  For the New Members class, please RSVP for childcare no later than the Wednesday before the class so we can arrange for adequate caregivers.  Children’s Sunday School is available for Sunday morning classes and Midweek activities are available during Wednesday evening classes.

We understand busy schedules!  If for some reason our class scheduled doesn’t work for you, call us … we will do whatever necessary to accommodate your schedule when you are ready to join the church.
