Disc Golf: Windwood Disc Golf Course is the highest rated disc golf course in Houston according to www.dgcoursereview.com. The course here has all the elements that you would want in a disc golf course - Concrete tee pads, tee signs, bag holders, tight fairways, risk/reward, ace-able holes, long drives and more. Maps and pencils available at the front desk M-F, 8am - 5pm.
The course is open to the public but there are rules for that usage: Please read below.
1. M-F 8am - 5pm Everyone must check in at the church reception desk. This is to help with security for our school and there is an on duty sheriff on the property at all times to enforce this.
2. Pets must be on a leash.
3. Maps and Score cards are available when you check in.
4. Course closed till Noon on Sundays.
5. Usage of alcohol is prohibited on the course and parking lot.
6. Please pick up your trash. There are 8 trash cans on the course.
Weekly Mini - Every Sat Morning we have a one round "Mini" tournament. Cost: $10 ($7 goes to payout, $1 goes to Ace Pot, $2 goes to help with course maintenance) The Ace pot grows continually until someone get an ace. check out the Windwood course thread on the message board at www.hfds.org for updated totals. The largest ace pot has been almost $500.

Basketball: Men's Basketball - Every Tuesday 6:45pm-9pm in the Gym. First 20 play tournament style each day. Cost: Free members and $5/non-member.

Windwood Fitness: This ever expanding program of fitness classes are designed to provide a wide variety of fitness experiences. All classes lead by a Certified Instructor. All experience and fitness levels are welcome.
ZUMBA: Tuesday & Thursday Night at 7pm in the Gym building. Cost: $5/class or $4/class if 10 classes are pre-purchased Are you ready to party yourself into shape? It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.
YOGA: Tuesday at 7pm & Thursday at 11am in room A126 (in the main church building) Cost: $3/class. Bring a mat, a friend, and a bottle of water.
- Tuesday night yoga is more "traditional yoga." Be ready to sweat and be challenged.
- Thursday morning is considered Restorative yoga. It is for all ages and abilities. It focuses on lengthening your muscles. This style helps calm your busy mind & restore a sense of balance with muscles. During class you are either on your bottom, back, or belly. Perfect for people with injuries, physical limitations, or in need of some peace & quiet.
TRAINING CLASS: Tuesday 9:30am. Cost: $7. Group fitness focuses on strengthening & conditioning your whole body. We use resistance bands (that are provided) for many of the exercises. This class is built for all levels of physical ability. Please bring water & a mat for ab work.
