After 15+ years in full-time music ministry, Bob Vandervliet has released a CD of his own original worship and devotional songs.
Bob first started singing at age 10, and playing piano at the age of 13. In high school, he was heavily influenced by the music of Billy Joel, Elton John, & early contemporary Christian music pioneer, Keith Green. In those years, he strove to master that style of piano driven pop and rock. He also went on to study classical music in college and has been able to marry both his love for pop and rock with his more classical side. The result of which is reflected his first studio CD release, “Near to the Heart of God” which combines, driving guitar, lush orchestrations and complex vocal arrangements along with what he does sitting at the piano.
