The purpose of the engagement initiative at Windwood Presbyterian Church is to confront the evil forces attacking us spiritually, culturally, politically and personally. To this end:

• We will pray and encourage others to pray for our country and its leaders, support Christian causes, and be bold in living out our faith in an increasingly godless society;

• Wherever practical only patronize corporate entities, entertainment and philosophies that are in line with life-affirming values, support local law enforcement and promote awareness of the Christian foundations of our country;

• Become educated on the important political and cultural issues affecting our country, back political candidates, propositions and bills consistent with Christian values, make our opinions known to those in authority, volunteer to support honest elections and encourage others to get involved;

• Be prepared to calmly but boldly discuss our opinions through prayer, listening, questioning and educating others on the positive aspects of our country, while admitting flaws, but also contrasting them to other systems of government.
