Rev. Kevin Rudolph

Senior Pastor

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Kevin grew up going to the First Presbyterian Church of San Diego where he attended with his family through High School. He graduated from Whitworth College in 1977 with a major in History and minor in Philosophy. He received his M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. While attending Fuller he met and married his wife, Robyn, graduating in 1983 and accepting a call to be minister to youth at First Presbyterian Church of Visalia, California.

Kevin served in Visalia for six years, during which time their two children, Amanda and Daniel were born. Three weeks after Daniel’s birth the family moved to Richardson, Texas where he had accepted a call to be associate pastor at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. After four years at Canyon Creek, he accepted a call to be Senior Pastor of Windwood Presbyterian Church in Cypress, Texas where he has served since November of 1993.

The author of the book, The Bible Tour Guide: A 365 Day Spiritual Journey, Kevin has been busy pastoring at Windwood during which time the church has grown and in 2002 relocated from the 8 acre site on Grant Road to the new facilities on the 57 acre site on Spring Cypress Road. Kevin is looking forward to the future God has in store. “God has set before us a great adventure of faith as we share the transforming love of Jesus Christ with the many neighbors, new and old, that surround us. I am excited to be here!”

Rev. Dr. Ron Hawkins

Executive Pastor

Ron sensed a strong call into full-time pastoral ministry, about a year after God brought him and his wife, Linette, to faith in Christ. Leaving a successful career in sales, he studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, where he received a Master of Divinity degree. In 1990, he, Linette and a handful of others, planted a church in Joliet, Illinois. Pastor Hawkins also served churches in Indiana, Alabama and Arizona. He completed a Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2010.

Ron and Linette have been married for 38 years and have five married children and eight grandchildren. “I always knew that being a grandfather would be fun, but I never knew just how much fun it would be,” he says.

Pastor Ron brings administrative and leadership gifts to Windwood with a propensity and commitment to help staff and volunteers become more efficient and effective in advancing the kingdom of God. He has a pastor’s heart and is passionate to see people come to faith in Christ Jesus becoming an integral part of the life and ministry of the local church. Ron often reminds people of faith, “The world desperately needs what we have… Jesus Christ and each other.” As Paul admonishes us in 1 Corinthians 9:22, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.”
