Throughout this season, you’ll hear us talk about Advent. Advent comes from a word that means “arrival” or “coming.” It’s a season of preparation, a time when Christians around the world slow down, reflect, and ready their hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Messiah and Promised One. Advent invites us to live with hope, peace, joy, and love as we remember His first coming and look forward to His return.
